I wrote this one at the leadership class today. I was actually thoroughly bored and thought of a creative thing to keep my mind busy with.
The Holocaust.
"Six down, five to go!!!"
Eleven men standing in a row
Fallen six, kneeling five
They all must die, they all die.
"Bang!!! Bang!!!" They'd shoot us down
"Bang!!! Bang!!!" and we'd fall down.
One more day, one more breath
just to bring us closer to death.
Why that one? why Even one?
Take me now, let me be done.
Is this life? how one must live?
Nothing to take... nothing to give.
Hollow hollow, how hollow I am
Standing here like a useless dam
No water behind, no water headforth
Protecting nothing, not anymore.
My family is dead. Not a tear to cry
Like the dam, my eyes be dry
"Bang!!! Bang!!!" I heard so loud
Dead now. Finally down.
